What comes up when we search ‘digital marketing’? A ton of technological definitions that all do a bad job at defining. Why can’t anything be easy to understand?

Our definition: Any form of marketing products or services that involves electronic devices.

  


  

Not the definition you expected? Well, digital marketing has actually been around for decades. Yes, iPhones, blogs, PPC, etc, are all related, but in itself has nothing to do with the internet. This is where marketing comes in, however, these two terms are often misunderstood.

Digital Marketing can actually be traced back to when the radio launched! Not long after the radio was created, creators quickly realized they can use it to sell things. The first broadcast ever was an opera performance. What did people do after? They bought tickets. And there we have it,  digital marketing was born.
